Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and energetic Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in daily kitchen operations. This hands-on role involves assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, organizing kitchen supplies, and upholding food safety standards. The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, attentive to detail, and physically capable of managing routine kitchen duties in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with food prep such as chopping vegetables, assembling salads, and plating dishes.

Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations according to hygiene protocols.

Wash and organize kitchenware either manually or with dishwashers.

Monitor and stock kitchen inventory, ensuring items are properly stored and easily accessible.

Dispose of kitchen waste responsibly, following correct recycling and separation procedures.

Support chefs by retrieving ingredients, garnishing plates, and ensuring timely service.

Follow food safety procedures to ensure hygiene and quality standards are maintained.

Keep kitchen floors clean and organized, including regular mopping and trash removal.

Adhere to all operational and safety guidelines as per company policies.

Collaborate effectively with other staff to ensure smooth kitchen workflow.
Skills & Requirements:

Prior kitchen experience preferred but not mandatory.

Ability to multitask and stay productive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Good teamwork and communication skills.

Physical stamina to stand for long hours and lift items up to 50 pounds.

Flexible schedule, including availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Familiarity with food safety and hygiene practices is an advantage.
