Job Description:
Cobblestone Energy, a cutting-edge energy trading firm focused on European Gas and Power markets, is seeking a sharp, analytical, and motivated individual to join its Commercial Team as a Junior Trader. Key Responsibilities:

  • Trade in European power markets and implement profit-generating strategies.

  • Collaborate with analytical and development teams to design and implement trading tools.

  • Participate in Cobblestone’s 24/7 global trading operation.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance by communicating effectively with system operators.

  • Contribute to and uphold Cobblestone’s values of excellence and innovation.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Strong numerical and logical reasoning skills.

  • Ability to think clearly under pressure and in high-stakes situations.

  • Deep commercial awareness and a passion for global energy markets.

  • Self-starter with a high sense of responsibility and teamwork.

  • Proficient in English (spoken and written).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in quantitative or analytical roles.

  • Familiarity with trading tools or scripting languages such as Python or VBA.

  • Demonstrated curiosity, innovation, and adaptability.
