Role Overview:

JEX Personnel is looking for a motivated and skilled Junior Legal Counsel to join a leading legal team in Dubai. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a corporate law professional to provide sound legal advice, contribute to various legal matters, and ensure compliance with UAE laws. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and an interest in a fast-paced corporate law environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Legal Advice:
    Provide accurate and timely legal guidance on a range of corporate and commercial matters to internal stakeholders.

  • Contract Review & Negotiation:
    Assist in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts to minimize risks and safeguard company interests.

  • Legal Research:
    Conduct comprehensive legal research to support projects and ensure compliance with UAE laws and regulations.

  • External Collaboration:
    Coordinate with external legal advisors for litigation and regulatory matters.

  • Corporate Governance:
    Support the implementation and maintenance of corporate governance policies and procedures.

  • Knowledge Updates:
    Stay current with changes in legal regulations and disseminate relevant updates to the team.

  • Administrative Support:
    Manage legal administrative tasks such as notary services, attestations, and HR-related document drafting, including agreement templates.


Candidate Requirements:

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution. Admission to the bar or relevant legal qualifications are preferred.

  • Experience:
    At least 2-3 years of experience in a legal role (preferably in corporate or commercial law).

  • Knowledge:
    Strong understanding of UAE laws and regulations, with the ability to apply them practically in a business context.

  • Skills:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with high attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Languages:
    Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

  • Ethical Standards:
    A high level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information.
