Role Overview:
Gensler Middle East is hiring a Junior Landscape Architect who is passionate about sustainable and transformative design. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, planners, and interior designers, to develop and execute high-quality landscape and urban design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop urban planning and landscaping designs under the guidance of the Studio Director

  • Present design concepts to clients, consultants, and stakeholders

  • Conduct site analysis and propose context-sensitive landscape solutions

  • Prepare detailed construction drawings and specifications

  • Coordinate with contractors during the implementation phase

  • Advocate for sustainable design practices throughout all phases

  • Participate in climate and sustainability studies and performance analysis

  • Support project documentation and collaborate across design disciplines

  • Utilize BIM and parametric tools to optimize design processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field

  • 0–5 years of experience, with at least 1 year in landscape design

  • Strong design and visual storytelling skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Familiarity with LandFX, 3ds Max, and V-Ray is a plus

  • Knowledge of sustainable design frameworks (LEED, WELL, Fitwel, LFA preferred)

  • Strong communication skills, including freehand sketching and digital media

  • Ability to work on multiple projects with cross-functional teams

Technology & Tools Proficiency (Preferred):

  • Design Tools: Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino

  • Visualization: V-Ray, Enscape, Twinmotion

  • Computational Design: Grasshopper, Dynamo

  • Simulation & Analysis: Insight, Sefaira, Ladybug Tools

  • Graphics & Productivity: Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office

  • Experiential/VR: Unreal Engine, Unity

  • Scripting Languages: Python, C# (bonus)
