BLUROCK is hiring a Junior Commercial Manager to join its team for a luxury resort development project in the Maldives. This role is ideal for professionals with strong commercial acumen, especially those experienced in construction and hospitality projects. The position will focus on ensuring compliance with contracts, overseeing cost-related matters, and supporting coordination among project stakeholders including consultants, quantity surveyors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in commercial management of a high-end resort development project.

• Monitor adherence to contractual obligations and ensure compliance.

• Coordinate effectively with the project management team, consultants, and quantity surveyors.

• Support cost estimation, value engineering, and financial oversight throughout the project lifecycle.

• Contribute to procurement and variation management processes.

• Support commercial reporting and forecasting as required.

• Travel to Maldives project sites and other locations as necessary.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or a related field.

• MRICS qualification (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) is mandatory.

• 3–5 years of commercial management experience in the construction or project management sector.

• Previous experience working on hospitality or resort development projects is preferred.

• Knowledge of FIDIC or other standard construction contracts.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with cost management software is a plus.

• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder coordination skills.

• Ability and willingness to travel when project demands require.
