Junior Area Sales Manager

Coty, a global leader in beauty and cosmetics, is seeking a Junior Area Sales Manager for the Bahrain and Oman markets. This full-time, on-site role focuses on managing distributor relationships, achieving sales targets, and driving brand growth across multiple channels, including department stores, perfumeries, and supermarkets. The role requires strategic thinking, strong negotiation skills, and a passion for beauty and cosmetics.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the distributor organization to meet current and future business needs across assigned region.

  • Deliver volume, net revenue, and market share objectives in the assigned region.

  • Define and align negotiated terms, sell-in targets, sell-out objectives, export sales, and trade spend strategy with relevant stakeholders.

  • Drive sales performance through regular business reviews and identifying growth opportunities.

  • Manage budgets according to company guidelines and ensure financial stewardship through trade terms.

  • Collaborate with distributors to set monthly retail sell-in plans based on targets and seasonality.

  • Ensure proper inventory control across distributors with clear targets for healthy year-end stock levels.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and P&L.

  • Proven track record working with multiple distributors across the Middle East.

  • Experience managing diverse sales channels (department stores, perfumeries, hyper/supermarkets).

  • Strategic thinker with strong negotiation and relationship management skills.

  • Fluent in Arabic and English.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.

  • Willingness and ability to travel within the GCC.

  • Experience with mass-market makeup brands is a plus.
