As a Junior Accountant at CHANEL Middle East, you will join a high-performing finance team responsible for supporting operations across the Middle East. You will manage critical accounting functions including payables, receivables, travel and expenses, and cash management, ensuring precision and adherence to CHANEL’s standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Payables & Expenses:

Manage supplier onboarding through Coupa.

Administer and support the Concur expense system for travel and expense management.
Travel & Expenses:
-
Process and reconcile travel supplier invoices with corporate credit cards.
-
Reconcile Concur entries related to corporate card transactions.
Receivables:
-
Retrieve recharge support documents from SAP.
-
Submit Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation when needed.
-
Extract sales invoices and supporting documents from point-of-sale systems for audits and reports.

Assist in compiling boutique sales data for monthly declarations.
Cash & Payments:

Track cash flow for receivables and payables.
-
Reconcile petty cash expenses.
-
Consolidate payment terminal acquisition costs.
-
Manage requests for new corporate credit cards.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
-
Experience: 1–3 years of accounting experience (preferably within a multinational environment).

Skills:
-
Strong understanding of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).

Experience with financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP platforms.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Excellent attention to detail.

Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal).
