Job Title: Junior Accountant 

Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a foundational understanding of accounting principles and a passion for building a career in finance. You will be responsible for supporting the team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely and precise reporting in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers

• Assist with invoice generation, payment vouchers, and bank reconciliation

• Support the posting of journal entries and assist in month-end/year-end closing activities

• Maintain organized and complete supporting documents for financial transactions

• Monitor accounts receivable and payable regularly

• Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and statements

• Liaise with internal teams on finance-related issues

• Assist the Senior Accountant or Finance Manager during audits and financial reviews

• Perform any other finance-related duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline

• Basic knowledge of accounting standards and principles

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)

• Hands-on experience with Tally accounting software is mandatory

• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
