The IT Assistant Manager – Logistics Business Application will oversee the management of IT applications, ensuring security compliance and optimizing ERP systems for a leading logistics services company. The role requires strong leadership, project management, and technical expertise to drive IT initiatives that align with business goals, enhance efficiency, and maintain high standards of security and operational management.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning: Support the alignment of business applications with organizational goals and research new technologies to enhance business systems.

Acquisition, Deployment & Support: Implement new applications, assess and enhance existing systems, promote best practices, and manage project timelines and support SLAs.

Information Systems Control & Security: Conduct security reviews, ensure compliance with system standards, and lead information security initiatives.

Operational Management: Supervise the application team, identify opportunities for business process improvements, and maintain relationships with internal departments and external vendors.
Experience & Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in IT application transformation.

5+ years of experience in IT application management and information security.

Expertise in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, MS Dynamics).

Project management certification or relevant experience.

Experience in cross-functional system integration and business process improvement.

Background in information systems auditing, CISA certification preferred.

Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles is a plus.

Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

Preference for candidates from MNCs or Big 4 companies.
