As the IT Application Project Manager within VaporVM’s IT Project Management Office (PMO), you will lead the strategic alignment and execution of digitalization projects, ensuring successful delivery and execution. Your role will involve managing risks, tracking performance, improving processes, and ensuring the efficient utilization of IT resources to maximize business impact.
Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis & Documentation:
-
Facilitate workshops and meetings with business stakeholders to define project scope and validate proposed solutions.

Prepare business case documents, including cost-benefit analyses, ROI calculations, and risk assessments.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Project Planning, Reporting & Control:
-
Manage project teams, ensuring project plans are created and maintained, and monitor against scope, time, budget, and quality standards.

Track project deliverables and milestones, preparing consolidated status reports.
-

Risk, Assumption, Issue, Dependency (RAID) Management:
-
Identify, assess, and track project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
-
Ensure accurate planning and decision-making by revising assumptions based on evolving circumstances.
-

Change Control:
-
Implement change control processes across portfolios.
-
Assist in evaluating proposed changes, assess their impact, and facilitate decision-making.
-

Agile Management:
-
Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and sprint review meetings.
-
Monitor product performance and user engagement, recommending adjustments to product strategy and roadmap.

Creating and Maintaining Project Templates:

Develop and maintain project templates for business cases, status reports, risk registers, and other project management tools.

Stakeholder Management:
-
Build positive relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment on objectives and expectations.
-
Handle disputes and issues during the project lifecycle and work toward amicable resolutions.

RFP and Contract Management:
-
Aid in drafting, reviewing, and managing RFP processes.
-
Support procurement and legal teams in contract negotiations and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Oversee vendor performance and evaluate the efficiency of the contract management process.

Vendor Management:
-
Collaborate with procurement and techno-functional teams to select and assess vendors based on project requirements.
-
Address vendor performance issues and develop long-term strategic partnerships.
-
Essential Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or equivalent.
-
8+ years of experience in Project Management within IT, Digital, Energy, or Utility sectors.
-
Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
-
Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Project, JIRA, ServiceNow, Asana.
-
English proficiency required.
-
Project Management certification (PMI-PMP, IPMA-Level C, PMI-CAPM, or similar).
Preferred Requirements:

Master’s degree in relevant fields.
-
12+ years of experience in Project Management or similar roles.
-
Arabic proficiency.
-
Business Analysis certification (PMI-PBA, IIBA-CBAP).
-
Agile Management certification (PMI-ACP, SA-CSM).
-
Program Management certification (PMI-PgMP, IPMA-Level B).
