• The IoT Solutions Engineer will act as a subject matter expert in IoT solutions, focusing on CV, A, VSaaS, Drones, and Hybrid AI. The role involves working closely with technical sales teams, understanding customer requirements, and presenting Qualcomm’s IoT solutions. The engineer will also collaborate with Qualcomm’s business and product management teams and provide regional support for business development, strategy, and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business and product management leads to ensure solution engagements align with Qualcomm’s priorities.

• Provide technical and business leadership to the UAE AI and Solutions Innovation Hub team.

• Support business development and strategy in the region.

• Understand customer needs and develop new services and opportunities for increasing engagement.

• Lead technical presentations, discovery sessions, and planning that align with customer needs and success criteria.

• Develop solutions that leverage Qualcomm’s IoT capabilities and help optimize impact when in production.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in end-to-end software architecture, AI, and on-device development.

• Proven experience delivering technical presentations and leading customer engagements.

• Strong leadership and market influence, with a track record of establishing executive-level relationships in wireless/telecommunications.

• Entrepreneurial mindset to drive business growth and expand customer base.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, with a business management degree being desirable.

• C/C++ programming, Python, AI frameworks experience (e.g., Pytorch, TFLite).

• Hands-on experience with multimedia frameworks (Android, Linux, Tizen, etc.), with Gstreamer being a plus.

• Decision-making capabilities and experience with fast-paced technical environments.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science, with 6+ years of relevant experience; OR Master’s/PhD with a slightly lower experience requirement.

• 3+ years of experience in programming languages (C, C++, Java, Python, etc.) and debugging.
