Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-driven Investment Associate to support the investment team of a dynamic family office managing a diversified, global portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring deep analytical skills, a passion for multi-asset investing, and a commitment to operational excellence. This is a hands-on role involving portfolio monitoring, investment research, due diligence, and reporting — offering exposure to both public and private markets.


Key Responsibilities

📊 Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track and analyze portfolio performance, risk metrics, and asset allocations across asset classes.

  • Prepare quarterly performance reports, investment committee materials, and dashboards.

  • Ensure portfolio data integrity and collaborate on automation initiatives with reporting vendors.

📈 Investment Research & Analysis

  • Conduct investment due diligence across private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, credit, public equities, and real assets.

  • Build detailed financial models (including LBOs), evaluate industry trends, and write investment memos.

  • Monitor portfolio investments and engage with fund managers and company executives.

🛠 Operational Support

  • Coordinate fund operations: capital calls, distributions, onboarding, and legal documentation.

  • Support compliance and legal processes for new and existing investments.

  • Keep CRM systems, pipelines, and transaction logs up to date and accurate.

🤝 Relationship Management

  • Maintain communication and records with external fund managers, consultants, custodians, and service providers.

  • Attend investment meetings, record meeting minutes, and prepare briefing materials.


Candidate Profile

Education & Credentials

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields.

  • CA, CFA, CAIA (completed or in progress) is highly preferred.

Experience & Skills

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, consulting, or family office/endowment settings.

  • Strong financial modeling (especially LBO models), data analysis, and Excel proficiency.

  • Experience with Bloomberg, Addepar, and other investment management platforms.

  • Background in real estate investment and fund manager due diligence is a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Highly organized, discreet, and able to work effectively in a lean and dynamic environment.
