The Urban Resilience Hub by UN-Habitat’s City Resilience Global Programme (CRGP) is offering an exciting Internship in Humanitarian Affairs and Coordination. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in humanitarian response, resilience planning, and international urban development efforts across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support coordination and implementation of humanitarian and resilience-focused initiatives.

• Assist in preparing analytical reports, presentations, and policy briefs on urban resilience and emergency response.

• Conduct research on urban development, risk reduction, and sustainable city planning.

• Contribute to stakeholder coordination meetings and workshops with international and local partners.

• Support project management, documentation, and data analysis related to humanitarian affairs.

• Assist in monitoring and evaluation of ongoing UN-Habitat projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in International Relations, Urban Planning, Humanitarian Studies, or related fields.

• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Familiarity with humanitarian coordination systems and resilience frameworks is an advantage.

• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of other UN languages is an asset.

Work Location: Abu Dhabi and Dubai, United Arab Emirates

This internship is unpaid, and candidates are responsible for their own travel, visa, and accommodation arrangements. UN-Habitat does not charge any application fees for internships.
