Mandarin Oriental is seeking a motivated Intern to join their Guest Relations Team. The role involves assisting the team to meet and exceed guest expectations by providing efficient and courteous service. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills in multiple languages, including Arabic, French, Italian, Spanish, German, or Russian in addition to English.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Guest Relations Manager in inspecting VIP rooms prior to arrival, ensuring all requests are met.

Greet and meet guests, offering excellent customer service.

Prepare the Daily Communication Form and assist in handling amenity requests.

Participate in VIP meetings and provide proactive guest relations services.

Assist the Front Office team during high-demand periods.

Handle guest complaints and provide resolutions.

Collaborate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Room Services, Concierge, and F&B departments.

Establish individual guest preferences to offer personalized services.

Update arrival and departure reports to anticipate guest needs.

Establish personal contact with guests during their stay and interact with local guests in the lobby and F&B outlets.

Attend to specific guest requests, ensuring efficient and proactive service.
Qualifications & Experience Required:

Fluency in English; additional languages (Arabic, French, Italian, Spanish, German, or Russian) are a plus.

A passion for hospitality and guest service.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle guest complaints and provide appropriate solutions.

Team-oriented and proactive with excellent organizational skills.

Available to start in March 2025.
