Job Title: Interior Design Manager – Luxury Projects

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Interior Design Manager to join our Tier 1 Main Contracting Client’s team in Dubai. This exciting opportunity involves working on high-profile, luxury construction projects, overseeing all aspects of interior design from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale, high-end luxury projects, particularly in the UAE, and will be adept at leading teams to deliver exceptional design solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

This position is initially offered as a 3-6 month contract through J10 Consulting, with the option to transition to a permanent staff role after 6 months. Immediate joining is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interior Design Leadership & Oversight: Lead the development of interior design concepts for luxury residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, ensuring alignment with the client’s vision and luxury standards.
• Project Coordination & Collaboration: Work closely with architects, MEP teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate interior design elements seamlessly with the overall project design.
• Luxury Interior Execution: Oversee the selection and specification of high-end materials, finishes, fixtures, and custom furnishings to reflect the luxury project’s design narrative.
• Quality Control & Design Integrity: Ensure that all interior design elements meet the highest standards of luxury and craftsmanship, maintaining design integrity through construction and fit-out phases.
• Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, presenting design concepts and updates while ensuring their expectations are exceeded.
• Budget & Schedule Management: Ensure that the interior design aligns with the overall project budget and schedule, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of materials and finishes.
• Sustainability & Innovation: Incorporate sustainable and innovative design practices into luxury interiors, ensuring environmentally responsible solutions without compromising aesthetics.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in interior design management, with at least 2 years focused on high-profile projects.
• Extensive experience managing large-scale, high-end luxury residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other visualization tools.
• Strong knowledge of luxury materials, finishes, and bespoke furnishings, with expertise in international sourcing and procurement.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with a keen eye for detail and luxury design aesthetics.
