Job Description:
Aspris Middle East is seeking a full-time Insurance Coordinator to manage medical insurance processes, ensure compliance with insurance protocols, and facilitate efficient patient billing. The successful candidate will play a key role in handling pre-authorizations, managing claim submissions, and coordinating with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients.
Key Responsibilities:

Obtain prior approvals for medical services requiring pre-authorization in line with DHA coding guidelines.

Coordinate with insurance companies, adhering to their protocols and requirements.

Verify coverage and member eligibility for patients.

Communicate updates and new insurance protocols to the front desk and relevant departments.

Ensure approvals are received with accurate and complete details.

Review invoices to ensure they align with the approved services and documentation.

Address problem claims and insurance denials effectively and in a timely manner.

Coordinate outpatient (OP) cases regarding the correct use of CPT codes for accurate billing.

Educate patients about their insurance eligibility, entitlements, and coverage benefits.

Submit insurance claims on time and follow up as needed.

Maintain clear, professional communication with insurance companies, physicians, and patients.

Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to the organization’s dress code and professional standards.

Arrive on time and consistently maintain a cooperative and respectful working environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in insurance coordination, preferably in a healthcare or clinical setting.

Strong understanding of medical billing, pre-authorization procedures, and CPT coding.

Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively with patients, insurance providers, and internal teams.

Must hold a valid Coders License (Required).
