Insurance Advisor – Life Insurance Sales

Mashreq Corporate & Investment Banking Group is seeking a dynamic and goal-oriented Insurance Advisor – Life Insurance Sales to join their expanding retail banking team. This role involves driving life insurance sales, managing customer relationships, and delivering exceptional service while meeting monthly sales and FER (Financial Executive Report) targets. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven professional with strong interpersonal and consultative selling skills, committed to delivering best-in-class financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of life insurance products and drive new FER business.

  • Meet customers, close deals, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by adhering to service turnaround times (TAT).

  • Consistently achieve monthly and annual insurance sales targets.

  • Acquire and retain personal banking insurance clients through effective relationship management.

  • Coach and support direct sales staff to promote over-the-counter (OTC) insurance products.

  • Strengthen customer relationships via professional consultative financial analysis.

  • Proactively resolve customer complaints and coordinate with internal teams and insurance providers.

  • Provide valuable feedback for continuous improvement in insurance products, services, and customer experience.

  • Maintain and record all sales activities in CRM and daily sales reports.

  • Participate in team activities such as training, huddles, and compliance sessions.

  • Support cross-selling efforts and contribute to overall business goals of the retail banking segment.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate, preferably with an MBA and strong numerical skills.

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in insurance sales, preferably in a banking environment.

  • Strong understanding of customer financials and the ability to perform consultative sales.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.

  • Ability to manage objections and close deals efficiently.

  • Experience with CRM tools and maintaining accurate sales records.
