Google Cloud’s Mandiant team is seeking an Instructional Designer to develop and enhance training programs focused on cybersecurity and incident response. This role involves designing curriculum and learning materials for a range of learners, utilizing modern e-learning tools and collaborating with subject matter experts. Ideal for professionals experienced in instructional design and adult learning principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support all stages of the curriculum lifecycle: analysis, development, delivery, evaluation, and maintenance.

• Develop both instructor-led and self-study content.

• Build e-learning modules using tools such as Evolve and Articulate.

• Collaborate with peers and subject matter experts to design course content, job aids, and facilitator guides.

• Maintain up-to-date course documentation including syllabi and descriptions.

• Research and implement innovative e-learning technologies including mobile tools and collaborative platforms.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field, or equivalent experience.

• 1 year of experience in instructional design and adult learning.

• Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years’ experience in adult learning theory and instructional material development.

• Experience launching and supporting training programs across varied stakeholders.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to set up effective tracking systems.

• Experience in measuring program effectiveness and learner outcomes.
