Dubai Careers – A Smart Dubai Initiative, in collaboration with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), is seeking a committed Inspector – Vehicles Monitoring & Passengers Transport. This full-time, on-site role focuses on maintaining compliance in passenger transport services, ensuring public safety, inspecting vehicles, and issuing fines when necessary. The Inspector will support enforcement activities and monitor transport operations across the Emirate of Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to public complaints by inspecting offenders and preparing reports for the supervisor.

• Inspect vehicles during operations, maintaining cleanliness and recording irregularities.

• Store offenses and relevant documentation in the franchising and enforcement department’s irregularities box.

• Follow daily work schedules provided by the direct supervisor.

• Monitor and follow up on passenger smuggling offenders, issuing fines as required.

• Verify drivers’ permits to ensure professional compliance.

• Inspect contracts between luxury companies, hotels, and transportation providers.

• Conduct field inspections on foot in areas prone to passenger smuggling.

• Monitor passengers and vehicles to ensure compliance across all areas of Dubai.

• Issue electronic fines for violations.

• Confirm that vehicle side numbers match registered plate numbers.

• Prepare reports on operational challenges and daily work activities.

Key Requirements:

• High School Certificate (Secondary School education).

• UAE nationality only.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to enforce transport regulations effectively.

• Ability to work independently in the field and follow procedures accurately.

• Knowledge of vehicle and passenger transport regulations is advantageous.
