Emerson Automation Solutions is hiring an Inside Sales Engineer to join its Flow Controls Business Unit in Dubai. This full-time, on-site role focuses on providing technical and quotation support for customers across the Middle East and Africa (MEA). The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background with experience in control valves, product sizing, and RFQs. The role involves close collaboration with sales teams, customers, and global business units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and timely quotation support to customers across MEA

• Handle RFQs, obsolete product replacements, and sizing/selection of special products

• Coordinate with internal teams for the complete Quote-to-Cash process

• Support applications engineering, pricing, and technical consultations

• Collaborate with sales teams to support pre-sales activities and customer meetings

• Identify product gaps and work with global teams on product development

• Conduct customer follow-ups on quotes, deliveries, and order status

• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and success stories

• Maintain documentation and support site walks and troubleshooting

• Ensure ethical and compliant business practices aligned with Emerson’s policies

• Adhere to Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) protocols

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Chemical Engineering

• Minimum 4 years of relevant industry experience

• Strong interpretation skills of engineering documents and P&ID drawings

• Fisher Junior Master – Red Belt certification or equivalent

• Fisher FieldVue Champion qualification preferred

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Preferred Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of control valve products and manufacturing processes

• Understanding of MEA customer specifications and industry applications

• Familiarity with Quote-to-Cash processes and MIB strategies
