A.P. Moller – Maersk, a global leader in logistics and integrated transport services, is seeking an Information Technology Support Technician to join its on-site IT team in Dubai. This full-time role is focused on supporting IT infrastructure, end-user services, and technology enablement across multiple business units and logistics operations, particularly in warehouse environments.
As part of the Onsite Technology and End-User Support team, you’ll provide technical assistance for hardware, software, network infrastructure, and VIP users. The role demands flexibility, proactive problem-solving, and a willingness to go beyond routine tasks to ensure high performance and business continuity.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver hands-on IT support to Maersk’s business units and logistics facilities

Manage IT asset lifecycle (installations, relocations, changes, and decommissions)

Handle procurement, inventory, and asset tracking for IT equipment
-
Provide desktop, printer, and server support; troubleshoot LAN cabling issues
-
Assist in planning and supporting office and warehouse IT infrastructure setups
-
Offer VIP support in accordance with SLAs and escalate critical issues as needed
-
Support hardware/software upgrades, infrastructure consolidations, and regional projects
-
Deliver IT training sessions and support IT-related activities during office moves
-
Provide emergency and on-call IT support as required

Travel to other locations across UAE, Oman, and Qatar to provide IT services
Technical Areas of Focus:

Support for RF guns, label printers, HP laser jet printers

Conference room AV infrastructure and Data Center support
-
Experience in cabling, infrastructure planning, and project implementation
-
Procurement coordination and logistics for IT hardware
Candidate Profile:
-
Prior experience in IT support, especially in warehouse or logistics environments

Strong understanding of hardware, networking, and software systems
-
Comfortable with physical site work and working long hours or weekends when needed

Self-driven, resourceful, and ready to solve multiple technical issues simultaneously

Exceptional communication skills and customer-service orientation

Flexible, adaptable, and capable of managing competing priorities
