Akkodis is a global leader in engineering and digital solutions, enabling clients to accelerate innovation and transformation. They are currently seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to join their Dubai office and support the organization’s cyber defense strategy and governance.

Job Description:
The Information Security Manager will play a key role in driving the organization’s information and data security strategy. This position involves overseeing security tools, risk management, policy frameworks, and guiding the Security Operations Center (SOC). You will support the Regional CSO and Senior Information Security Manager in securing IT operations across applications, infrastructure, and networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the definition and execution of Cyber Defense Strategy.

• Develop, review, and manage security policies, procedures, and frameworks.

• Govern and manage security tools including vulnerability scanners, source code scanners, and cloud security monitors.

• Define and maintain security KPIs and KRIs in collaboration with IT Operations.

• Oversee SOC deliverables and guide security analysts in alert response and investigations.

• Lead implementation of complex cybersecurity projects across departments.

• Support 3rd-party risk assurance and assessment activities.

• Drive initiatives in data loss prevention and identity/access management.

• Ensure compliance with local cybersecurity laws and international standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, etc.).

• Collaborate with IT architects, platform owners, and project managers for secure system design.

• Lead governance structures, including cybersecurity committees and documentation.

• Maintain cybersecurity budgets and ensure IS targets are achieved annually.

Operational & Technical Responsibilities:

• Develop logical structures to implement effective security solutions.

• Design formal project plans and lead cross-functional teams toward delivery.

• Prioritize key security initiatives and manage high-pressure situations effectively.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.

• 8–12 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.

• Expert knowledge of both offensive and defensive security.

• Strong understanding of applications, IT architecture, networks, and infrastructure.

• Familiarity with global cybersecurity standards: ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, etc.

• Excellent English communication skills—both written and verbal.

• Strong leadership and project management skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Open-mindedness and adaptability to international work environments.

Preferred Certifications (Desirable):

• CISSP, OSCP, GPEN, GCIH (or similar recognized certifications)

• Cloud security certifications such as:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate

  • AWS Certified Security – Specialty
