We are seeking an experienced and skilled Information Security Analyst to join our dynamic IT security team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing information system security controls, ensuring that systems and data are protected against cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and unauthorized access. You will also play a key role in monitoring security incidents, analyzing risks, and ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, implement, maintain, and operate information system security controls and countermeasures.
• Analyze and recommend security controls and procedures throughout the acquisition, development, and change management lifecycle of information systems, ensuring compliance.
• Analyze and recommend security controls for business processes related to the use of information systems and assets, monitoring for compliance.
• Monitor information systems for security incidents and vulnerabilities, develop monitoring capabilities, and report on incidents, vulnerabilities, and security trends.
• Respond to security incidents, including investigating, providing countermeasures, and recovering from cyber-attacks, unauthorized access, and policy breaches; coordinate with third-party responders, including law enforcement.
• Administer authentication and access controls, including provisioning, changes, and deprovisioning of user/system accounts, roles, and permissions to safeguard information assets.
• Analyze trends and changes in the threat and compliance environment with respect to organizational risk, advise management, and develop and execute risk compliance plans and mitigation strategies.
• Perform risk and compliance self-assessments and coordinate third-party risk and compliance evaluations.
• Develop and manage information security governance, including policies, procedures, standards, baselines, and guidelines with respect to information security and system operations.
• Design and manage information security training and awareness programs, providing guidance and oversight for security education initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
• 7+ years of working experience in information security roles.
• Professional certifications: Forcepoint/FG/PA.

Technical/Work-Related Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of Forcepoint, Vectra, and Firewalls.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and mitigate security risks.
• Proficient time management and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Understanding of network security, security protocols, and cyber laws.
• Knowledge of current information security trends and developments.
• Experience in IT networking and programming.
• Ability to build and enforce security protocols and best practices for securing systems and networks.
