Hartland International School is a leading institution committed to fostering academic excellence and holistic development for children in Dubai. The school is seeking a professional and dedicated Independent Learning Support Assistant (iLSA) to provide one-to-one support for a primary phase student (Years 1–6) for the full academic year from 25 August 2025 to 3 July 2026.
The iLSA will work directly under the parents’ contract while collaborating with the school’s teachers and Inclusion team to ensure the student is fully supported academically and socially. This role requires patience, positivity, and strong organisational skills to motivate and engage the student, making learning enjoyable and accessible.

Key Responsibilities:

Support access to the primary curriculum across English, Maths, Science, and other subjects.

Reinforce lesson content to enhance understanding and confidence.
-
Assist with organisation, routines, and learning strategies to promote independence.

Encourage social communication and positive peer interactions.
-
Implement inclusive strategies to support engagement and self-regulation.

Provide calm, consistent support during transitions, assessments, and high-pressure periods.

Motivate and inspire the student with warmth, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
-
Experience supporting primary-aged students (Years 1–6).
-
Patient, nurturing, and emotionally attuned to children’s needs.
-
Bubbly, happy, and engaging personality to motivate children.

Familiarity with inclusive teaching approaches and strategies for neurodivergent learners.

Proactive, reliable, and collaborative with teachers, Inclusion staff, and families.
-
Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication.
-
Completed 40-hour Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) training (or willingness to complete).

Strong organisational skills to support executive functioning in children.

Valid and up-to-date police clearance/check (mandatory for safeguarding).

Applicants must already have legal right to work in the UAE and provide a valid No Objection Certificate (NOC) if required.

This role does not include company visa sponsorship.
Salary: AED 4,800–6,000 per month (dependent on experience)
