Aldar Education is seeking an experienced ICT Teacher to join Seer Bani Yas Charter School in Abu Dhabi for the Academic Year 2025/26. This American-curriculum middle school serves 622 Emirati boys in Grades 6 and 7 and focuses on fostering academic excellence alongside personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching & Learning:

Deliver inspiring ICT lessons aligned with the US curriculum.

Organize classroom environments and learning displays.
-
Plan, prepare, and present engaging lessons for a range of abilities.
-
Observe and assess students using the school’s assessment tools.
-
Work closely with specialists (e.g., therapists, psychologists) when needed.

Embed Seer Bani Yas’s Teacher and Learner DNA principles into daily instruction.
Assessment & Data:
-
Take responsibility for student progress and maintain records.
-
Use assessment data to inform lesson planning and interventions.
-
Communicate student development to parents during meetings and conferences.
Behavior Management & School Duties:
-
Uphold the school’s behavior policy and serve as a role model.
-
Promote student independence, self-control, and responsibility.

Participate in curriculum action groups and assist with events and duties.
Wider Responsibilities:

Support extracurricular events, trips, and school activities.
-
Maintain effective communication with parents and staff.
-
Positively contribute to the school community and ethos.
Skills and Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in ICT or related subject with PGCE/Teaching Qualification.

1–2 years of teaching experience, ideally in a multicultural setting.

Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.

Passion for holistic child development and extracurricular involvement.

Must pass a police or enhanced DBS check.
