GEMS Founders School in Dubai South is seeking a passionate and dynamic Computing Teacher to join their team in August 2025. The ideal candidate will inspire students to embrace technology, foster critical thinking, and develop a strong foundation in computing. Key Responsibilities:

Teach computing concepts, including programming languages and digital tools.

Deliver lessons ranging from basic IT skills to advanced programming and computer science.

Engage and inspire students in the ever-evolving field of technology.

Utilize educational technology and digital learning platforms to enhance learning experiences.

Foster a strong understanding of critical thinking and problem-solving through computing.

Provide effective classroom management and organization.

Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) is preferred.

Previous experience teaching Computing or Computer Science, ideally within an international or UK-based curriculum.

Strong knowledge of computing concepts, programming languages, and digital tools.

Ability to teach a broad range of computing topics, from basic IT skills to advanced subjects.

Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.

Ability to engage and inspire students in technology.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with students, parents, and colleagues.

Proficiency in using educational technology and digital learning platforms.
