Shangri-La Group is seeking a Hygiene & Sanitation Officer to join the team at Traders Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring hygiene and sanitation compliance across the property, in line with HACCP and local regulations. This is a full-time, on-site role within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to local health regulations and HACCP standards.

• Conduct regular hygiene audits in all food and beverage outlets, kitchens, and public areas.

• Supervise sanitation procedures and coordinate pest control efforts.

• Organize and conduct training sessions for staff on hygiene and food safety.

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and audit findings.

• Collaborate with various departments to maintain and enhance hygiene practices throughout the hotel.

What Are We Looking For?

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.

• Solid knowledge of HACCP principles and local health regulations.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.

• Degree or diploma in Food Safety, Microbiology, Environmental Health, or a related field (preferred).

• A warm and approachable personality with problem-solving abilities.
