Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Mechanic to inspect, maintain, and repair hydraulic systems used in vehicles, machinery, and industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will be experienced in diagnosing hydraulic issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, and test hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, and actuators.

  • Install, assemble, and modify hydraulic components, including tubing, hoses, and fittings.

  • Interpret hydraulic schematics, technical diagrams, and blueprints to diagnose system faults.

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan.

  • Conduct system testing to verify performance after repairs or installations.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance work, repairs, and equipment modifications.

  • Follow all workshop safety procedures and ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safe and efficient operations.

  • Collaborate with technicians and operations teams to complete maintenance tasks effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with hydraulic systems, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

  • Strong technical knowledge of fluid power systems, mechanical components, and basic electrical principles.

  • Proficiency in using specialized diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, hydraulic schematics, and engineering drawings.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for identifying complex hydraulic issues.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
