A leading company in Dubai is seeking a Human Resources Payroll Assistant to manage payroll processing, compliance, and employee support. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate payroll calculations, maintain employee records, and provide assistance with payroll-related queries while ensuring compliance with tax laws and company policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Calculate and process bi-weekly/monthly payroll for employees.
  • Verify timesheets, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and deductions.
  • Handle new hires, terminations, leaves, and salary adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll tax laws.
  • Prepare and submit payroll tax filings (e.g., PAYE, Social Security, Medicare).
  • Generate payroll reports, including labor cost summaries and tax liabilities.
  • Update employee payroll records, including direct deposit, tax forms, and benefits deductions.
  • Reconcile payroll data with HR and finance systems.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll information.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee payroll queries.
  • Issue pay slips, tax documents, and employment verification letters.
  • Use payroll software (e.g., Oracle) and Excel proficiently.
  • Assist in payroll system upgrades and testing.

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing and tax compliance.
  • Experience with payroll software (e.g., Oracle) and Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive payroll information with confidentiality.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
