Human Resources Payroll Assistant


A leading company in Dubai is seeking a Human Resources Payroll Assistant to manage payroll processing, compliance, and employee support. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate payroll calculations, maintain employee records, and provide assistance with payroll-related queries while ensuring compliance with tax laws and company policies.
Responsibilities:
- Calculate and process bi-weekly/monthly payroll for employees.
- Verify timesheets, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and deductions.
- Handle new hires, terminations, leaves, and salary adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll tax laws.
- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings (e.g., PAYE, Social Security, Medicare).
- Generate payroll reports, including labor cost summaries and tax liabilities.
- Update employee payroll records, including direct deposit, tax forms, and benefits deductions.
- Reconcile payroll data with HR and finance systems.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll information.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee payroll queries.
- Issue pay slips, tax documents, and employment verification letters.
- Use payroll software (e.g., Oracle) and Excel proficiently.
- Assist in payroll system upgrades and testing.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing and tax compliance.
- Experience with payroll software (e.g., Oracle) and Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive payroll information with confidentiality.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
