Hitachi Energy is hiring a Hub Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager to lead the Quality and CI function across the Middle East & Africa region. This senior-level role is responsible for driving customer satisfaction, quality culture, and operational excellence through strategic leadership, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will manage a small team and collaborate across the organization to implement ISO standards, resolve non-conformities, and champion a customer-first mindset.
Responsibilities:
– Define and implement the Hub MEA Quality and CI strategy in line with business needs.
– Act as a Voice of Customer advocate across the value chain.
– Manage the Quality Management System and ensure compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, and ISO27001.
– Establish and monitor process performance indicators and internal controls.
– Lead resolution of high-profile customer non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
– Promote a Quality Culture and influence senior leadership on quality strategies.
– Deploy the Continuous Improvement Framework and support improvement project execution.
– Ensure alignment with Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity.
Requirements:
– Education: Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
– Experience:
– Extensive industry experience in quality management.
– Proven track record managing multisite QMS and leading certification processes.
– Certifications: Lean, Six Sigma, Quality Auditing, or similar.
– Skills:
– Expertise in RCA, Kaizen, Lean Action Workouts.
– Strong leadership and influencing capabilities.
– Effective communicator across multicultural, remote teams.
– Fluent in spoken and written English.
