Role Overview:

KEO is seeking an experienced and highly motivated HSE Manager (Occupational Safety & Health) to lead and implement the Health, Safety & Environmental strategy on a large-scale project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing safety performance, managing the Safety Management System (SMS), and coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders to uphold the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and oversee the KEO Safety Management System (SMS) across the project.

• Build strong relationships and provide HSE guidance to clients, contractors, and internal teams.

• Conduct regular site inspections and audits, recommend improvements, and track compliance.

• Develop and deliver HSE training programs based on needs assessments.

• Lead incident investigations and ensure root cause analysis and corrective actions are documented and implemented.

• Monitor HSE KPIs, maintain statistical records, and generate detailed reports.

• Manage a team of KEO Safety Officers and assign their duties.

• Review contractor HSE documentation and monitor implementation.

• Chair HSE meetings and attend construction progress discussions.

• Stay current on HSE best practices, legal updates, and ISO standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum of 15 years of career experience in HSE, ideally in the UAE construction industry.

• NEBOSH Diploma Level 6 (or equivalent).

• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification.

• Experience managing safety for large-scale villa or residential construction projects is highly desirable.

• Strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills.
