Convergint is seeking an experienced HSE Engineer (RTA Approved) to ensure road safety, infrastructure compliance, and smooth project execution in Dubai. The role involves obtaining No Objection Certificates (NOCs) and Right of Way Permits (ROWPs), coordinating with stakeholders, implementing safety procedures, and ensuring adherence to Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) regulations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in civil/transportation engineering, road safety management, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Submit and follow up on NOCs and ROWPs with RTA and relevant authorities.

• Coordinate between internal teams, contractors, and government bodies for permit approvals.

• Conduct site visits and assessments to ensure compliance with RTA safety standards and approved parameters.

• Develop and implement safety policies, risk assessments, and method statements.

• Maintain accurate documentation and prepare reports for management and regulatory authorities.

• Identify safety hazards and implement mitigation measures.

• Serve as the main point of contact for inquiries regarding road permits and safety compliance.

Requirements & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in road safety, infrastructure planning, or related roles in the UAE.

• Strong knowledge of RTA regulations, guidelines, and permit approval processes.

• RTA Certification or accreditation required.

• Health & Safety certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH) are a plus.

• Traffic Management or Road Safety certification desirable.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with meticulous attention to detail.
