Role Summary

As an HR Generalist, you’ll support the day-to-day HR operations in our Dubai regional office. Reporting to the Cluster HR Manager, you’ll oversee government PRO activities, recruitment processes, onboarding/offboarding, documentation, and employee relations. This is a key position for ensuring compliance with UAE labour law and company HR standards.


Key Responsibilities

Government Relations / PRO

  • Manage visa applications, renewals, cancellations, and labor documentation

  • Liaise with government entities (Ministry of Labour, Immigration, etc.)

  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and updates in UAE law

  • Serve as main point of contact for all government-related matters

Recruitment

  • Draft job descriptions and post vacancies

  • Coordinate interviews and candidate communications

  • Conduct screening, reference checks, and assist in hiring decisions

Onboarding / Offboarding

  • Develop and implement onboarding/offboarding processes and materials

  • Communicate clearly with all internal stakeholders

Documentation & Admin

  • Prepare offer letters, contracts, salary certificates, and NOCs

  • Support benefit enrollment and leave management

  • Maintain employee files and ensure document compliance

  • Draft and distribute internal HR communications as needed


Requirements

  • UAE National (with Family Book)

  • 2–3 years of HR experience, ideally in the UAE

  • Strong understanding of UAE Labour Law and government procedures

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

  • Fluent in both Arabic and English

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Experience in the maritime industry is an advantage

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability

  • Comfortable interacting with government officials and internal teams
