Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated HR Executive to join our team. This role will involve supporting HR operations, ensuring compliance with statutory labor laws, assisting in recruitment processes, and coordinating performance management initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, providing administrative support to employees, and contributing to various HR projects.


Roles & Responsibilities:

HR Operations Support:

  • Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, orientation, and exit formalities.

  • Manage employee data in the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

  • Support the implementation of HR programs, policies, and procedures.

  • Coordinate employee benefits administration (health insurance, retirement plans, etc.).

  • Ensure statutory and non-statutory deductions are applied correctly (e.g., Provident Fund, ESI, taxes).

  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and provide support to employees on payroll-related queries.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with statutory labor laws and regulations, including tax, benefits, and social security programs.

  • Assist with the preparation of reports for audits, labor compliance, and other regulatory bodies.

  • Maintain documentation for all statutory submissions and ensure timely filing of tax, PF, and ESI returns.

  • Assist in creating reports on HR metrics such as attendance, absenteeism, and other workforce data.

Employee Relations & Support:

  • Provide administrative support to employees regarding HR-related inquiries and concerns.

  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives and surveys to promote a positive workplace culture.

  • Coordinate with HR management on performance management, training, and other HR-related programs.

Performance Management:

  • Coordinate the performance appraisal process, including timelines, documentation, and follow-up actions.

  • Assist in setting up performance evaluation templates and provide guidance to managers and employees.

  • Track and report performance review completions and provide analytical support for performance data.

  • Support implementation of performance improvement plans (PIPs) and maintain related documentation.

Recruitment Support:

  • Assist in end-to-end recruitment activities including job postings, screening, scheduling interviews, and candidate coordination.

  • Maintain applicant tracking systems and recruitment databases.

  • Coordinate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and update job descriptions as needed.

  • Participate in onboarding activities and ensure smooth handover of selected candidates into HR operations.

HR Project Assistance:

  • Provide support on various HR projects and initiatives, including employee surveys, talent management, and HR process improvements.

  • Suggest improvements to existing HR processes for efficiency and effectiveness.


Desired Candidate Profile:

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Preferred Knowledge:

    • Strong understanding of payroll processing, labor laws, and statutory requirements.

    • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and payroll software.

    • Knowledge of tax calculations, Provident Fund, ESI, gratuity, and other statutory deductions.

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
