Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic HR Director to lead the human resources function for a diversified construction and engineering group operating across the UAE. This executive leadership role is responsible for shaping and delivering the HR strategy, strengthening organizational capability, and supporting long-term business growth through effective people management.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, ensuring workforce excellence, regulatory compliance, and a high-performance, inclusive company culture.
Key Responsibilities

Define and execute a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with corporate objectives, growth plans, and operational needs.

Lead end-to-end talent acquisition, retention, and workforce planning strategies across engineering, construction, and corporate functions.

Oversee performance management systems, leadership development, succession planning, and career progression frameworks.

Design and manage competitive compensation, benefits, and reward structures aligned with market benchmarks and internal equity.

Ensure full compliance with UAE labor laws, employment regulations, and internal governance policies.

Drive HR transformation initiatives, including digital HR systems, process optimization, and workforce analytics.

Foster a strong organizational culture that promotes employee engagement, diversity, inclusion, and ethical leadership.

Advise executive leadership on employee relations, industrial relations, organizational design, and change management.

Lead learning and development strategies, leadership programs, and capability-building initiatives.

Manage HR budgets, optimize HR operations, and ensure efficiency and scalability of HR services.
Candidate Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Master’s degree or professional HR certifications (SHRM-SCP, CIPD, HRCI) are highly preferred.

12–15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, ideally within construction, engineering, or large-scale industrial organizations in the GCC.

Proven expertise in workforce planning, talent management, HR operations, and labor law compliance.

Strong background in HR transformation, change management, and HR systems implementation.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Analytical, data-driven approach to decision-making with strong problem-solving capabilities.
