HR Business Partner II (9-month fixed term contract)

Role Description:

Booking.com is looking for an HR Business Partner II to provide both operational and strategic HR support to line managers and employees within their assigned region. The HRBP will play a crucial role in implementing HR strategies and initiatives while supporting the business and driving solutions to complex people-related issues.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic & Operational Guidance: Provide HR guidance to regional leadership on topics such as recruitment, learning and development (L&D), compensation and benefits, and more.

  • HR Strategy Execution: Translate global HR initiatives into local actions and create plans to address regional business needs.

  • Proactive Business Partnership: Engage in strategic thinking to identify solutions to business challenges, transforming them into actionable HR solutions.

  • Disciplinary & Compliance Issues: Manage issues related to work permits, investigations, and contract terminations, ensuring proactive measures are taken.

  • Training & Development: Develop and implement programs that support business needs and empower leadership.

  • Legal Compliance: Stay updated on local legislation and advise management on necessary legal changes.

  • Collaboration: Work with HR colleagues and managers to maintain data-driven practices and support the execution of the regional HR strategy.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: At least 6 years of experience within HR, with 4+ years in an HR advisory or business partnering role.

  • Commercial & International Exposure: Previous experience working in a commercial, international environment.

  • Proactive & Data-Driven: Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with a data-driven mindset.

  • Fluency: Fluent in English.

  • Flexibility: Comfortable with change and able to manage various priorities in a fast-paced environment.
