Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join a well-established regional law firm based in Dubai. This role provides expert HR guidance and hands-on operational support across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring HR policies, procedures, and best practices are applied consistently and in line with UAE Labour Law.

The HR Advisor will partner closely with partners, managers, and employees to support employee relations, performance management, and compliance, while contributing to a positive employee experience and supporting business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from partners, managers, and employees

  • Advise on employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, grievances, absence management, and conflict resolution

  • Support and manage investigations, hearings, and resolution processes in line with firm policies and UAE labour law

  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied fairly, consistently, and compliantly

  • Support performance management cycles, probation reviews, and employee development planning

  • Assist with recruitment activities and coordinate onboarding processes

  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems, and reporting

  • Support payroll inputs, benefits administration, and employee lifecycle changes

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with partners and senior stakeholders


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

  • 4–6 years’ experience as an HR Advisor or HR Generalist, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment

  • Strong working knowledge of HR best practices and UAE Labour Law

  • Proven experience managing employee relations cases accurately and efficiently

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with confidence advising senior stakeholders

  • High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential matters

  • Strong problem-solving and sound decision-making abilities

  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently

  • Demonstrated ability to produce accurate HR documentation and reports
