Fairmont The Palm, a luxurious resort on Dubai’s iconic Palm Jumeirah Island, is currently seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to join their team. This full-time, on-site position is ideal for candidates who take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest service in a world-class hospitality environment.

The hotel features 391 rooms and suites, 11 high-end dining venues—including Michelin Guide-recommended restaurants—and top-tier amenities such as Serenity Spa Dubai, a private beach, pools, and the Fairmont Falcons Kids’ Club. As part of the housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in upholding the resort’s reputation for luxury, cleanliness, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive room cleaning: dusting, bed making, vacuuming, bathroom sanitation, window cleaning, and restocking amenities according to brand standards.

• Ensure guestroom doors remain closed during cleaning and utilize “Cleaning in Progress” signage.

• Coordinate with room service to remove trays/trolleys from rooms.

• Maintain proper use and storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.

• Accurately report room status at the end of your shift.

• Keep linen and supply closets clean and organized.

• Report any room that does not require service (e.g., DND or vacant rooms) to your supervisor.

• Immediately report lost and found items and any suspicious activity.

• Maintain grooming and uniform standards at all times.

• Comply with departmental policies and health & safety procedures.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent vocational training preferred.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in housekeeping or similar role.

• Fluent in English (verbal and written).

• Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment is a plus.

• Friendly personality with strong interpersonal skills.

• High standard of personal hygiene and grooming.

• Ability to lift, carry, or move heavy objects as part of daily duties.
