Role Overview:
The Housekeeping Attendant plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, and circulatory spaces to the highest standards, ensuring a welcoming and pristine environment for all guests.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain assigned areas according to hotel standards.

• Replenish guest supplies as needed.

• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.

• Report any damages or malfunctions in rooms or public areas to the supervisor.

• Maintain all housekeeping equipment in a clean and functional condition.

• Keep accurate records of room status and daily productivity.

• Attend daily briefings and carry out assigned daily tasks.

• Handle and report lost and found items immediately.

• Address and report guest complaints promptly.

• Observe and report unusual guest behavior or activities.

• Adhere strictly to hotel health, safety, hygiene, and fire evacuation procedures.

• Assist with valet services such as linen delivery and laundry orders when needed.

• Understand and differentiate VIP guests and various room categories.

• Maintain grooming standards according to Raffles’ policies.

• Attend all required meetings and training sessions.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

• Good organizational skills.

• High level of guest engagement and service orientation.

• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations and procedures.

• Secondary education.

• Good overall knowledge of housekeeping standards and practices.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment.
