Nord Anglia Education, the world’s largest premium international school network, is hiring a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for Nord Anglia International School Abu Dhabi. This is a full-time, on-site role, starting Mid-August 2025, where you will play a key role in supporting students and teachers in a world-class learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Classroom & Student Support:

• Work with individual students, small groups, or whole classes under teacher supervision.
• Assist in monitoring student progress and provide feedback to teachers for individualized learning support.
• Support students with English as an Additional Language (EAL) and Special Educational Needs (SEN).

✅ Resource & Curriculum Support:

• Assist in planning and preparing educational resources for intervention groups.
• Organize and allocate teaching materials across year groups.
• Support the Inclusion Team with interventions across Primary.

✅ Collaboration & School Engagement:

• Work with the Year Leader to organize lunch and break duties.
• Provide mentoring and training to Teaching Assistants.
• Support whole school activities and assist in onboarding new students.
• Collaborate on training programs for Teaching Assistants.

Skills & Qualifications:

✔ Education & Experience:

• High school diploma (minimum requirement).
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.

✔ Essential Skills:

• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Understanding of teaching best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

✔ Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the British curriculum is a plus.
• Experience working with EAL and SEN students.
