GEMS Education is seeking enthusiastic and committed High Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) and Teaching Assistants to join our team in the United Arab Emirates for a September 2025 start. The successful candidates will play an essential role in supporting classroom teachers and promoting student success through academic support and classroom assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher with reading activities and small group instruction.

• Supervise and support learning activities both in and outside the classroom.

• Prepare and tidy classroom resources, including worksheets and displays.

• Cover classes for short periods in emergency situations.

• Support student hygiene needs, including toileting and changing when required.

• Maintain stock supplies and organize learning materials.

• Attend meetings and support school events or committees.

• Ensure confidentiality and professionalism at all times, in line with school policies.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field preferred.

• Excellent English communication and writing skills.

• Strong general education, particularly in Mathematics and English.

• Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant or with children preferred.

• Proficient in classroom management and use of ICT is a plus.

• Organized, adaptable, and capable of working under pressure.
