Marriott International is seeking a dedicated Heart of House Specialist for their Sheraton Mall of the Emirates Hotel in Dubai. This full-time, on-site role supports key hotel operations within Food and Beverage & Culinary departments by providing cleaning and maintenance assistance across various areas such as kitchens, laundry, and dining services. The Heart of House Specialist ensures high standards of cleanliness, efficient handling of linens and dishware, and smooth logistical support to enhance overall guest experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks across multiple departments including kitchen, food & beverage, and laundry

• Prepare fresh linens and maintain spotless dining ware for guest use

• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment like dishwashers, linen washers, and dryers

• Transport linens and dishware throughout the hotel efficiently

• Follow safety protocols and company policies strictly

• Maintain professional appearance and communication at all times

• Foster positive relationships with coworkers and contribute to team goals

• Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions promptly

• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling items up to 50 pounds

• Execute other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors

Skills and Qualifications:

• No formal education or prior experience required

• Physically able to perform demanding tasks including standing, walking, bending, twisting, and lifting

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards
