Marriott International is hiring a Heart of House Specialist to support essential operational functions at the Sheraton Mall of the Emirates Hotel, Dubai. This full-time, on-site role involves providing crucial cleaning and support services across various departments such as kitchen, food & beverage, and laundry. The Heart of House Specialist ensures the availability of clean linens, spotless dining ware, and the proper maintenance and operation of cleaning equipment, contributing to seamless hotel operations and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Support cleaning needs across departments including kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry

• Prepare and handle fresh clean linens and dining ware for guest use

• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as dishwashing machines and linen washers/dryers

• Transport dishware and linens throughout the hotel as needed

• Adhere to safety protocols, company policies, and quality standards

• Maintain professional appearance and communication

• Develop positive working relationships and support team goals

• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management

• Perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects up to 50 pounds

• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors

Skills and Qualifications:

• No formal education or prior work experience required

• No supervisory experience or certifications needed

• Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, twist, pull, and stoop for extended periods

• Strong team player with commitment to quality and safety
