Job Overview:

We are seeking a Healthcare Security Officer to join our team in St. Johnsbury, VT, serving multiple locations across Vermont and nearby New Hampshire towns. This is a full-time position with shifts from 4 PM – 12 AM and 12 AM – 7 AM, including weekends.

No previous security experience is required — we provide all necessary training and support for growth within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas within healthcare facilities

• Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff

• Ensure safety through regular foot patrols

• Respond promptly to emergencies, disturbances, or safety concerns

• Follow healthcare-specific safety and confidentiality protocols

• Remain vigilant to prevent theft, disturbances, or unauthorized access

• Prepare incident and daily activity reports accurately

Requirements:

• 18 years or older

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver’s license

• Must possess or be able to obtain a Vermont Guard Card

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods

• Available to work weekends and overnight shifts

• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
