Position Overview:
A respected developer-backed construction firm in Dubai is seeking a committed and hands-on Health & Safety Officer to actively monitor and support daily HSE operations across large-scale construction sites.

In this site-focused role, you will ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, proactively identify hazards, deliver training, and help build a strong safety-first culture among teams and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out regular site inspections to verify compliance with safety policies and standards.

• Identify and communicate potential risks, ensuring timely implementation of preventive measures.

• Assist in preparing and sharing risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).

• Investigate incidents and near-misses; document findings and support corrective action planning.

• Oversee critical safety areas including PPE usage, working-at-height protocols, equipment checks, and confined space practices.

• Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness sessions to site personnel and subcontractors.

• Maintain detailed safety records, inspection logs, and compliance reports.

• Support HSE initiatives and collaborate closely with site teams to drive continuous improvement.

• Promptly report unsafe conditions and practices to the HSE Manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.

• Valid NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory); additional certifications such as First Aid or Fire Safety are advantageous.

• 4–7 years of practical HSE experience within the GCC construction industry.

• Solid understanding of UAE safety regulations and site compliance processes.

• Strong attention to detail, reporting skills, and ability to engage effectively with site teams.

• Proactive mindset with dedication to upholding the highest safety standards.
