Position Title: Head of Sales – Freight Forwarding

Company Overview:
NMT Logistics, a global leader in freight forwarding and logistics solutions, is seeking a highly strategic and result-oriented Head of Sales to spearhead its commercial growth in the UAE. Based in Dubai, this leadership role will shape the company’s regional sales strategy, manage a high-performing team, and drive revenue through a combination of market expansion, key account management, and innovative client acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and execute robust sales strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives in the forwarding and logistics market.

Leverage your personal client network to accelerate revenue growth and expand the company’s customer base.

Lead, coach, and develop a results-driven sales team to achieve and exceed targets.

Identify new market opportunities and generate business across sea, air, and land freight services.

Foster strong client relationships and provide customized logistics solutions to meet evolving client needs.

Collaborate closely with the operations, pricing, and marketing teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Track market trends, analyze competitor activities, and adapt strategies accordingly.

Oversee major contract negotiations and maintain long-term partnerships with key accounts.

Deliver timely sales forecasts, performance reports, and budgeting to senior leadership.
Candidate Requirements:

Minimum 7–10 years of proven sales experience within the forwarding/logistics industry, preferably in the UAE or GCC.

Strong leadership experience managing sales teams in a B2B logistics environment.

Extensive knowledge of freight services including FCL, LCL, customs clearance, and supply chain solutions.

A strong portfolio of clients and established network in the logistics/freight sector.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.

Strategic mindset with strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
