Job Title: Head of Sales 

Job Description:

Our client is a UAE-based logistics and supply chain solutions provider, established in 2012, offering end-to-end services in freight forwarding, transportation, and warehousing. With a focus on speed, integrity, and customer-centric operations, they’ve built a reputation for delivering seamless logistics experiences across the region.

As they continue to expand, they are looking for an experienced Head of Sales to lead the charge in national and regional business development—driving strategic revenue growth, building high-performance sales teams, and securing key client relationships.

Who You Are:

You are a visionary sales leader with a proven track record in logistics and supply chain services. You bring strategic sales acumen, sharp business instincts, and a passion for building scalable commercial operations. You understand the nuances of the GCC logistics market and know how to align tactical efforts with long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and present a strategic sales plan to the CEO aimed at scalable revenue growth, market expansion, and margin optimization.

  • Lead and manage a sales team to deliver gross profit of at least 3x the total team cost.

  • Build and execute client acquisition strategies across freight forwarding, transportation, and warehousing services in the UAE and GCC.

  • Foster and maintain long-term relationships with strategic clients and key accounts.

  • Identify new business opportunities and enter emerging markets with data-backed go-to-market plans.

  • Collaborate closely with operations, finance, and leadership teams to ensure seamless service execution and client satisfaction.

  • Establish clear KPIs and performance goals for the sales team, conduct regular reviews, and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and industry shifts to inform agile and informed sales tactics.

  • Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for senior leadership.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate plans into results.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven experience in high-level B2B negotiations and deal-closing.

  • Strong proficiency in CRM tools and advanced Excel reporting.

  • Resilient, results-driven, and adaptable under pressure.

  • Skilled in performance management, cross-functional collaboration, and team development.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • 10–15 years of experience in logistics/supply chain sales, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles.

  • Demonstrated success in growing sales pipelines and delivering against aggressive revenue targets.

  • Deep knowledge of the logistics and freight forwarding landscape in the UAE, GCC, and international markets.
