Job Description:
Charterhouse is partnering with a leading name in the sports and marketing industry to hire a Head of Legal for their operations in the Middle East and South Asia (MESA) region. This pivotal role will have full oversight and responsibility for all legal activities across MESA, while working closely with the group legal team in Asia.

The Head of Legal will provide legal support across commercial and corporate activities, including drafting commercial contracts, offering general company structure and formation advice, overseeing governance and compliance, and acting as the company secretary for multiple entities. This is an exceptional opportunity for a generalist commercial lawyer with an interest in sports to make an impact in a leading global sports organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal support and advice for the group’s business activities in the MESA region.

• Draft and review commercial contracts and agreements.

• Advise on company structure, formation, and corporate governance.

• Ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations.

• Act as the company secretary across various regional entities.

Requirements:

• 6 to 8 years PQE in commercial law.

• Previous experience in the sports industry is advantageous, but a passion for the industry is essential.

• Strong understanding of legal frameworks across MESA.

• Ability to manage multiple legal disciplines and work with diverse teams.
