🌟 Role Overview:

New Century Education is seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Inclusion to lead and develop inclusive education strategies across its Abu Dhabi and Al Ain campuses. The ideal candidate will champion diversity, equity, and accessibility, ensuring that students with additional learning needs receive comprehensive academic, emotional, and behavioral support to thrive in a safe and inclusive learning environment.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

• Design and implement an effective inclusion strategy aligned with school goals

• Provide leadership and training for staff to support inclusive practices

• Set measurable targets to evaluate inclusion impact

• Collaborate with the Leadership Team to drive decisions related to inclusion

Coordination & Support

• Oversee all provisions for students with additional needs (academic, behavioral, sensory, emotional)

• Ensure interventions (e.g., pull-out, push-in) are planned and evaluated

• Work with teachers and specialists to facilitate individualized support

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain and update Documented Learning Plans (DLPs) and Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs)

• Ensure secure and accessible documentation in systems like eSIS

• Coordinate with the Health and Safety Officer on student accessibility and evacuation protocols

Monitoring & Quality Assurance

• Conduct internal reviews and audits to assess teaching quality and inclusion effectiveness

• Implement data-driven strategies for continuous improvement

Parent & Community Engagement

• Meet with families regularly to review learning support plans

• Develop strong community and specialist networks to enhance inclusion initiatives

Staff Development

• Assist in recruitment, induction, and ongoing development of inclusion-related staff

• Lead team meetings with a focus on improving student outcomes

🎓 Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum Diploma in Special Education; Bachelor’s in Special Education preferred

• IELTS score of 6+ (academic stream)

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, ideally within an inclusion setting

• Leadership experience in a similar role is a plus
