Job Title: Head Baker

Job Description:
We are hiring a passionate and highly skilled Head Baker to lead the launch of a premium café in Dubai. This is a full-time position offering up to 16,000 AED all-inclusive salary for an experienced professional ready to shape the bakery operations from the ground up.

As the Café Head Baker, you will develop and perfect a wide variety of baked goods, from artisan breads and viennoiserie to cakes and pastries. You will oversee all bakery operations, ensuring consistent quality, production efficiency, and team development. Your leadership will be essential in training and managing a team of bakers, pastry chefs, and kitchen staff.

You will also play a critical role in ingredient sourcing and stock management, collaborating with procurement to maintain quality while minimizing waste and cost. This is an exciting opportunity to set new standards in Dubai’s café and bakery scene.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, test, and refine a wide range of baked goods, including artisan breads, viennoiserie, cakes, and specialty items.

• Supervise all baking operations from dough preparation to final presentation, ensuring high-quality standards.

• Lead the hiring, training, and ongoing development of bakery staff, building a cohesive and skilled team.

• Oversee daily production schedules and ensure operational efficiency and timely output.

• Manage inventory, monitor ingredient usage, and ensure minimal waste.

• Collaborate with procurement to source premium ingredients at the best value.

• Maintain strict compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.

Qualifications:

• Formal training in baking and pastry arts.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a premium bakery, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

• Expertise in artisan breads, viennoiserie, and an extensive range of baked goods.

• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

• Creative, innovative, and passionate about setting trends in the baking world.

• Age limit: 38 years and below.

• Must currently reside in the UAE.
